The full kit

Everything hydraulic, one phone call

Hose replacement & crimping

Hydraulic hose cut to length and crimped on site from ¼″ to 1½″ — braided and spiral construction, matched to the working pressure of your circuit. Old hose patterned, new hose tested and fitted on the spot.

Hose ends, fittings & adaptors

JIC, BSP/BSPT, ORFS, O-ring boss, Code 61/62 flange and metric fittings, plus adaptors between all of them. Bring the old fitting — or text a photo — and we'll match it properly.

24/7 breakdown response

A blown hose doesn't check the calendar. The mobile service truck responds around the clock across the Sunshine Coast and greater region, so downtime is measured in hours — not days.

Lubrication systems

Macnaught greasing and lubrication products — grease guns and kits, hose reels, oil dispensing and metering — supplied and set up for machines, fleets and workshops.

Hydraulic motors & valving

Supply and replacement of hydraulic motors, valves and control gear for heavy-duty systems — specced against the machine, not guessed.

Servicing & replacement parts

Heavy-duty hydraulic servicing, repairs and replacement parts — keeping earthmoving, civil and industrial gear reliable between rebuilds.

Breakdown response

From blown hose to back to work

01

Call or text

0488 229 981 — any hour. A photo of the hose ends and the layline (the printing on the hose) speeds everything up.

02

The truck comes to you

Site, paddock, depot or driveway — the mobile workshop arrives stocked with hose and fittings from ¼″ to 1½″.

03

Made & crimped on site

Hose cut to length, ends matched, crimped to spec and checked at the machine — code-matched components, no guesswork.

04

Back to work

Fitted, tested, gear cleaned up and you're earning again — usually the same visit.

The on-board crimper, mid-job on a rural property

This is what "mobile" actually means

The crimper rides on a slide-out tray in the back of the truck. Hose comes off the reel, gets cut, fitted and crimped to spec right next to your machine — paddock, pit or driveway.

Pro tip: when a hose lets go, snap a photo of both ends and the printing along the hose before you call. Nine times out of ten we can arrive with the exact replacement ready to crimp.

Why matched hose & fittings matter

A hydraulic assembly is only as strong as its weakest interface — and that's almost always the crimp. Mixing one brand's hose with another brand's fitting means nobody has tested or certified that combination.

That's why VMECH supplies Masterhose code-matched systems: hose, fitting and crimp spec all rated and tested together, with published spec sheets and crimp ranges.

Quick numbers

  • ¼″ – 1½″ hose stocked, cut and crimped on the truck
  • 1,000 – 10,000 PSI working-pressure coverage across the range
  • 1, 2, 4 & 6-wire braided and spiral constructions
  • Impulse-tested code-matched hose & fitting combinations

Mining & Quarrying

Built for RS23 fluid power compliance

Coal mines and quarries answer to Queensland's Recognised Standard 23 — the fluid power safety standard for hydraulics and pneumatics on site. Under RS23, every hose assembly has to be correctly built, identified, tracked, tested and certified. That's exactly how VMECH builds them.

Hose assemblies you can prove

"If you can't prove where a hose came from, who built it and whether it meets spec, you've got a problem." RS23 closes that gap — and so do we. Every assembly leaves with its paperwork in order.

  • Code-matched, correctly crimped assemblies — built to verified spec
  • Unique tagging & identification on every assembly
  • Full traceability — what it is, who built it, when, to what standard
  • Proof (hydrostatic) pressure testing & test certificates
  • Records that stand up to an RS23 audit

Gauges, valving & pump — built for repeatable high-pressure proof tests

Investing ahead of the work: our dedicated hydrostatic tester is bought and on its way. Once it lands, VMECH will proof-test and certify hose assemblies in-house — so mine and quarry customers get RS23-ready assemblies with test documentation, without the wait.

Common questions

Straight answers

Do you come to us, or do we come to you?

We come to you. VMECH is a mobile service — the truck carries hose, fittings and an on-board crimper, so hoses are made and fitted at your machine, wherever it's stopped.

What hose sizes do you carry?

The truck stocks hydraulic hose from ¼″ up to 1½″ in braided and spiral constructions, plus a deep range of hose ends, fittings and adaptors. Odd sizes or specialty hose can be sourced quickly through Masterhose.

Are you really available after hours?

Yes — breakdown support runs 24/7. If a hose lets go at 2am on a weekend, call 0488 229 981. Getting your machine earning again is the whole point of the business.

Can you help with more than just hoses?

Absolutely. Beyond hose and fittings we supply and fit hydraulic motors, valving and replacement parts, handle heavy-duty hydraulic servicing, and set up Macnaught lubrication systems for machines and workshops.

Do you supply hose for coal mines & quarries (RS23)?

Yes. We build hose assemblies to suit Queensland's Recognised Standard 23 for fluid power safety — correctly crimped, tagged, identified and traceable. Our hydrostatic test bench (arriving soon) will let us proof-test and certify assemblies in-house, so you get RS23-ready hose with test documentation. More on RS23 above, or call to talk through your site's requirements.
